Vacation Day four

Woke up to an angry sea. It was raining as well. If you looked to the south however,there was promise in the day. A lighter patch of sky was visible. We took a little extra time with breakfast before heading to the beach. By now we are experienced tourists,old hands at this,and know exactly where to go and how to get set up. We are also wise enough to not take unnecessary items with us. We rented two chaise lounges and an umbrella. We are set.
It is still a bit overcast but the temperature is pleasant enough. The water does feel a little colder today and the surf  just a little higher. No matter,knowing it is our last full day we will persevere irregardless . The sand,the surf and the sun are taking its toll upon us all. It is possible to have too much fun ! Whoever said otherwise,lied. I will not be deterred though,I will continue to have fun ! After a while the sun has returned in all its' glory and the temperature rises. It is a beautiful day.
Wanting to ensure we take advantage of everything at least one more time we decide to head to the hotel in the early afternoon. The lazy river,swimming pool and hot tub await. Ahh,what a great life. I could get used to this lifestyle. Sleep,play,eat and sleep a little more. Just like that cat of mine. Pampered and spoiled, with no responsibility.

WE went to a rib joint," Jakes " for our final dinner on vacation. The food was good but the service was terrible. Perhaps our server was new to the job or perhaps incompetent I don't know which. My tip to her would have been, " get a different job " but my daughter in law gave her a monetary one anyhow. She is soft hearted that way.
We took in a movie and all turned in for the night about midnight. No one wants to go home to the real world but it is time to pack it up. One more time in the lazy river with the kids. Our time here is almost over. Well,you know it was for a limited time. Doesn't make it easier to do what you know you have to. Go Home !
