What has become of the country when an entire political party snubs the law? That's a question I have to ask given the news I am reading. Apparently the Democratic party has invited an illegal alien to the State of the Union address. So you're telling me we know this person is in the country, illegally, and yet gets invited to the very seat of government, not for punishment, but as a reward! I fail to see how you could view that it in any other fashion. I wonder how many hard working CITIZENS of this country would like an invitation to the State of the Union address? I can say with a certainty, I would be honored. That invitation would be framed and hung on my wall, a source of pride. But the Democrats have decided to invite a criminal instead. Let that sink in. This person is in the country illegally, no one disputes that, in fact they are advertising that fact, and no legal action is being taken. Can anyone explain this to me? If you are an elected official of the United States of America you are required to take an oath. An oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution is the rule of law on immigration. Knowingly allowing an illegal to be in the country runs contrary to that Constitution and therefore the oath you took to uphold it! You don't have to be a lawyer, constitutional scholar or judge to understand that! So, please someone explain why this is being allowed?
Now I could go on and on about all of this, but the bottom line to me is this disregard for the law. It is a total lack of disregard for the law, no way around that. The Democrats are saying, we don't care if you broke our laws, we are welcoming you to our country. We have a picture of a Governor taken 35 years ago and we insist he resign for that infraction, but you can slither across our border and be welcomed. Do the Democrats intend to parade this individual out like some favorite pet? Looks that way to me. What has become of the country? A major political party is saying they will parade an illegal out as a sign of their conviction. Their conviction to what? Lawlessness! Their conviction to what? Illegals before citizens?
We have the rule of law for a reason! The rule must be followed. You can change the rule, change the law, but guess what, there is a rule of law for doing that. If you just ignore the rules, do what you " feel " and snub the law there is a name for that. It's called anarchy! The dictionary describes that as " a state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority. " I'd say the Democrats are .not recognizing the authority of the Constitution! If this is allowed it will be a very sad day in history. It is also a day that should be followed by demands from We the People! We the People have the AUTHORITY to rid the nation of those that refuse to uphold their oath of office. I'd suggest we exercise that authority.
