  Woke up and read where the market rebounded, a new record was set. 4 trillion dollars gained just like that. Now depending upon who you read that is either great or the worst thing that could have happened. Not surprised that the democrats believe it is all a conspiracy and Trump is the mastermind behind manipulating the entire global marketplace! Why that Cheeto man is a threat to the entire world! I've even listened to a report that says 48% of the liberals think assassinating him would be alright, a good thing. That's rather shocking if you really think about it. A third world reaction for certain! That comes as no surprise to me however as I have seen our country headed in that direction for some time now. Open borders, drowning in debt, rampant lawlessness and a judicial system favoring the criminals; could it go any other way?

  Of course all that money, either way, is just speculative funds. All those stocks are only valuable when someone is willing to buy them. Without a sale, they are worthless. But hopes are soaring once again there is money to be made, maybe, could be, might happen. And that is the long and short of the stock markets. Tariffs were imposed as a signal to other nations that we were getting just a bit tired of the imbalance. A great number of those nations got the message. There will be some renegotiating going on for certain. It will take some time, no doubt about that, but I believe it will benefit everyone in the end. I'm hoping to see a change, no more, business as usual. No, I want to see a fair deal made for all involved. I, for one taxpayer, am tired of supporting all these other nations. 

  I don't pretend to have a vast understanding of global markets and economies of the world. I'm no expert on the stock market or investing. It's true, I'm no gambler. I do understand a bit about negotiating a deal. I'm not making one unless it benefits me in some fashion. I am quite willing to go without some of the things I want. Yes, I can wait until you are ready to make a deal. Your product, whatever it is, is worthless if I'm unwilling to buy it. I can wait. How long can you hold out? That's the deal in a nutshell. Was Trump temporarily suspension of the tariffs a reversal? Or was it just a part of the plan, the deal. A little something to get attention. Worked like a charm in my opinion. The rats started scrambling like water flooding the ship! Let's talk about it. 

  The time has come for the United States to impose our strength upon the world once again. In order to be a global leader, you have to lead. In my experience the leader is seldom loved in the beginning. A leader only becomes endeared when that leader provides something to those following. Like a general during wartime, he has to win the battle to be admired. Consider Patton as a prime example of that. He wasn't the most popular guy, just the most successful. His troops were loyal to him because he won. Yeah, sometimes you have to be a big old meany, hurt some feelings and step on some toes. The battle isn't over, it has just begun. We will all just have to wait and see what happens. Thing is, if democrats start making money from his policies, they will quickly reverse their course as well. They'll be building statues of him in no time. And that, that is the art of the deal.
